Relatives of the lost miners

COMM A woman is crying after she was let know about the death of her near relation, while relatives and friends of the miners being underground by the time of accident stand near the entrance to plant management of “Krasnolimanskaya” coal mine waiting for information about their destiny, town Rodinskoye, Krasnoarmeyskiy region, Donetsk area, Tuesday, July 20, 2004. Overnight at 8 p.m., methane suddenly exploded and 31 miners died as a result. At the present moment the bodies are being raisen to the surface. By 5 a.m. July 20, 12 miners were discovered by mine-rescue crew and successfully brought out. Destiny of other 11 miners was still unknown by 6.45. The mine-rescue crew established a fact that these miners had very little chance to be saved. Salvage operations are going on.
