During the briefing First Deputy of Prosecutor-General informed that this day the Prosecutor General's Office filed a charge to Yulia Timoshenko concerning the exceeding of authority and the abuse of office in the signing of gas contracts in 2009. Investigator of the Prosecutor General's Office said that the Prosecutor General's Office had got the decision of the Pechersk District Court on mandatory delivery of Batkivshchyna Party leader and former Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko to the Prosecutor General's Office. The decision was based on the fact that Yulia Timoshenko has been eluding the preliminary investigation for a long time.
