Yuliya Timoshenko

Batkivshchyna Party leader and former Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko during the session of the Court of Appeals, in Kiev, on Wednesday, June 8, 2011. This day Kiev Court of Appeals confirmed the legitimacy of initiation of criminal case against Timoshenko for signing the gas contracts with Russia in 2009. The Court dismissed a complaint of Timoshenko and confirmed the legitimacy of Pechersk district court of Kiev on May 16. According to Timoshenko, the judges were in the deliberation room for only a few minutes.
