COMM Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko, his five Kateryna and well-known Ukrainian singer Alexander Ponomarev at a charitable ball in Kiev, Sunday, November 20, 2005. Representatives of Ukrainian political and business elite and foreign guests participated in the ball. One ticket costs 7 thousand hryvnas (about 1.4 thousand U.S. dollars). Charitable contributions and the money from tickets sale are to assist in the funding of newborn intensive care units.The ball was supported by International charitable fund “Ukraine 3000”, Donbass Industrial Union, “1+1” TV channel and Alexander Ponomarev himself.
