Picket of disabled miners

One of the miners, who pickets the Ministry of Coal Industry (MCI), is tying a fillet with the caption HUNGER-STRIKE around his head, preparing to start the hunger-strike near the MCI building (Kyiv, Wednesday, May 19, 1999). 94 miners-invalids from the Luganska and Donetska Oblasts, who have been picketing the MCI building since May 13, are starting the hunger-strike at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
