Ukrainian sculptor Boris Dovgan
Ukrainian sculptor Boris Dovgan makes his final touch to the bronze sculpture of Pope John Paul II in his studio in Ukraine's capital Kiev Friday, June 14, 2002. It took Dovgan eight months to create a sculpture ordered by the Vatican's Kiev Nuncio to be unveiled on its area June 24, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the pontiff's visit to Ukraine.
