Participants of a procession of the Cross on the occasion of Kievan Rus Baptism go to the Monument to Prince Vladimir, in Kiev, on Thursday, July 28, 2011. This day about 10,000 belivers took part in a procession of the Cross on the occasion of the 1023rd anniversary of Kievan Rus Baptism in Kiev. St. Vladimir Cathedral hosted a solemn religious service. The liturgy was served by Patriarch of Kiev Filaret.
