Picketing of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine

Participants of the picketing of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine against deprivation of Roman Shukhevych from the title of Hero of Ukraine in Kiev, on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. An action of protest takes place near the building of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine. Picketers protest against deprivation of Roman Shukhevych from the title of Hero of Ukraine. Today, the court will review this case. The appeal against President's Decree on giving Roman Shukhevych a title of Hero of Ukraine was filed by Donetsk lawyer Vladimir Olentsevych. His appeals to Donetsk District Administrative Court and Donetsk Administrative Court of Appeal were rejected. Commander of the Ukrainian Rebellion Army Roman Shukhevych was given a title of Hero of Ukraine by a respective Decree of former President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko from October 12, 2007.
