Ukraine and Latvia signed a range of bilateral documents. The heads of the states signed a Joint Statement. They also signed: Intergovernmental agreement on transit transportations using ports and other transport infrastructure; Agreement between Defense Ministries of Ukraine and Latvia on cooperation in defense area; Agreement between Health Ministries of Ukraine and Latvia on cooperation in health services area and medical science; Memorandum on mutual understanding between Foreign Ministries of Ukraine and Latvia in cooperation issues concerning European integration.
