George Soros
famous International financier and patron, founder of the International Fund "Vozrozhdenie" (Revival) George Soros presents the project of the Legislation Institute "Openness of Legislative Power", established with assistance of the Fund in the framework of the program "Public Legislative Protection", in the Ukrainian VR (Parliament) in Kyiv, on Monday, November 6, 2000. Mr. Soros, who stays in Ukraine on November 5-8, said that the project is aimed to establish a Web-site, which will contain the data base of the analytical comments to draft laws. The latter will allow to make the law-making process more transparent and accessible both for specialists and businessmen and common citizens.
