The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the first reading a draft law “On Introducing Amendments into Some Codes of Ukraine” (concerning joint property on land). This draft law introduces amendments to Land Code. In particular, it is stipulated that in case of sale of a share in a right of joint partial property for land lot a co-owner has an advantage before other people for its purchase at the price declared for sale taking into account its market-value and on other equal conditions for the exception of a case of sale at public auctions. The draft law provides that division of a land lot, which is in joint partial property, is carried out by co-owners by notarized agreement. A division of a land lot, which is in joint partial property, on which there is a building, which is in joint property of co-owners of a land lot, is carried out in accordance with technical documentation on land management on establishing of borders of a land lot in real (on territory).
