Contraband cigarettes

FILE “Ronson” contraband cigarettes, which were found out by border guards at the Ukrainian Romanian border, in Chernovtsy, on Wednesday, November 5, 2008. The border guards of Chernovtsy border detachment together with employees of the border police of Romania suppressed an attempt of illegal movement though Ukrainian-Romanian state border the batch of contraband tobacco production, total sum of which makes up 27 thousand bundles. Operative- searching group of the department of “Krasnoilsk” border service found out 18 (9000 bundles) boxes of cigarettes of “Ronson” trade mark. The hiding place with the tobacco production was situated 150 metres away from the state border line. Employees of the border police of Romania also found out 18 (9000 bundles) boxes of cigarettes of “Ronson” trade mark at their territory. Moreover, on November 1-2, during carrying out of operative-searching measures in the private premises of citizen of Romania, which were situated near the border, 18 (9000 bundles) boxes of cigarettes of “Ronson” trade mark were found out.
