Nikolay Zaseev-Rudenko
Nikolay Zaseev-Rudenko -producer of the new Ukrainian 9-series TV-film «Chorna Rada» (Black Council) during the shootings. The cutting of the film is finished. The film was shot on the first Ukrainian Historic Novel by Panteleymon Kulish «Chorna Rada - Chronicle of 1667», which was published for the first time in 1857 and banned in 30-ies during the cult of personality. The film is dedicated to troubled times in the history of Ukraine, which followed the death of Getman Bogdan Khmelnitskyi and seizure of the power by Ivan Bryukhovetskyi (Bogdan Stupka played his part). The serial was primarily planned to consist of 5 series and was shot during 3 years on the Alexander Dovzhenko studio. The film will appear on the Ukrainian TV in March of 2000 and simultaneously the 3-hour version of the movie will run in the cinemas. Except Stupka, Alexey Petrenko (Bogdan Khmelnitskyi), Valeryi Shevchenko, Victor Stepanov, Bogdan Benyuk, Ruslana Pisanka, Rodmila Shchegoleva, Mikhail Poplavskyi, Vitalyi Rosstalnoi, Ksenia Kovaleva, Sergey Romanyuk, Konstantin Shaforenko, Nikolay Baklan, Alexander Bondarenko played in the film. Alexander Chornyi - cameraman. The film was shot in the Vasilkov outskirts, village Poradovka.
