The shot from the film ”Chorna Rada” (”Black Council”)
The shot from the new Ukrainian 9-serial film "Chorna Rada" ("Black Council"). The cutting of the serial is finished. The film was based on the first Ukrainian novel written by Panteleimon Kulish "Chorna Rada - the chronicles of the 1667", published in 1857 and forbidden in the thirties during the cult of personality times. The film was dedicated to the uneasy times in the Ukrainian History after the Getman Bogdan Khmelnitsky death and the seizure of power by Ivan Bryukhovetsky. Bogdan Stupka played the part of the latter. The serial was planned to be the 5-serial, was shot during the 3 years on the Alexander Dovzhenko film studio and will appear on the television screens in March of 2000. The premier of the 3-hour long TV-version will take place in the cinemas. Alexey Petrenko (Bogdan Khmelnitskyi), Valeryi Shevchenko, Victor Stepanov, Bogdan Beniuk, Ruslana Pisanka, Rodmilav Shegoleva, Mikhail Poplavskyi, Vitalyi Rosstalnoy, Ksenia Kovaleva, Sergey Romanyuk, Konstantin Shaforenko, Nikolay Baklan, Mikhail Poplavskyi, Alexander Bondarenko were shot in the film. Nikolay Zaseev-Rudenko - producer, Alexander Chernyi - cameramen. The film was shot in v. Poradovka, Vasilkov outskirts.
