May-Day demonstration preparation

The 1st of may was celebrated as International Solidarity Day of working people of all countries. Kyiv citizens went into the streets, they were happy because of spring and good weather and they had no idea that radioactivity background exceeded norms in ten times. Increasing of the pupation level was observed almost at all southwestern part of the European territory of the USSR. On April 22, 2008 there will be 22 years from the day of Chernobyl accident.
