Collapse of the USSR has become a colossal tragedy for the Ukrainian people.
It was stated by the Communist Party leader Petr Simonenko during a wreath-laying to the monument to Lenin in Donetsk. According to him, at the present time, it stands to reason that collapse of the USSR was a great tragedy for all former Soviet republics. According to the leader of the Communist Party, achievements of the Soviet authorities and the independent Ukraine are incomparable.
