44th convention of Communist party of Ukraine

44th Congress of the Communist Party of Ukraine was opened by the first secretary of the Central Committee of Communist Party of Ukraine, Chairman of the Communist fraction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Petr Simonenko. 634 delegates came to attend the congress, including members of the Central Committee and Central Control Commission of the Communist Party of Ukraine, the secretaries of regional committees, city committees, district committees, people's deputies of Ukraine, the editors of party papers.
The following questions were included in agenda of the 44th Congress of the Communist Party of Ukraine:
1. The Political Report of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
2. Report of the Central Control Commission of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
3. A new edition of the Program of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
4. Amendments to the Constitution of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
5. Election of Central Committee of Communist Party of Ukraine.
6. Election of Central Control Commission of the Communist Party.
Tomorrow the Communist Party of Ukraine will adopt a new version of the Party Program, said Simonenko. During a press conference Simonenko said that the Communist Party of Ukraine plans to implement the qualitative transformation during the year.
