An actor of a folk troupe in the image of Popandopulo – the character of movie “The Wedding in Malinovka” amuses the guests of the 2nd annual folk-ethnographical festival “The Wedding in Malinovka” standing between two posters with the portraits of presidential contender Viktor Yanukovich. The festival was arranged by fund “Bereg Nadiyi” on Saturday, September 4, 2004. 5 wedding of Malinovka’s residents, the performances of the country-folk atelier “Drobina” of Pavel Zibrov and the folk and amateur troupes of Chuguyevskiy district of Kharkiv region took place during this festival based on the motives of the famous Soviet movie “The Wedding in Malinovka” of producer Andrey Tutyshkin. The participants of the festival were: the leader of deputy group “Democratic initiatives” and Viktor Yanukovich’s authorized representative Stepan Havrish, Viktor Yanukovich’s trusted representative Ivan Dem’yanchenko and near 10 thousand guests.
