Fragments of an aircraft PO-2 crashed at 8:15 during a training flight at “Korotich” aerodrome before the celebration of the Aviation Day beginning at 12:00, Kharkov, Saturday, August 28, 2004. The aircraft was flied by Yevgeniy Prozorov from Zaporozhye, born in 1935, a well-known pilot-sportsman, the winner of several flight competitions. According to eye-witness testimonies, Yevgeniy Prozorov made several difficult flight manoeuvres and then the aircraft suddenly spinned and fell to earth. The pilot died.
