UNIAN ARCHIVE Donetsk hotel “Donbass” by the moment of its explosion in the centre of Donetsk on Monday, February 26, 2001. On Sunday, May 16, 2004, a new rebuilt “Donbass” building was solemnly opened. An old building of 1938 was destroyed and rebuilt again by suggestion of Donetsk Shakhtar direction. The new "Donbass-Palace" is the first hotel in Ukraine that is a member of international alliance of Great Hotels of the World.
