The evacuee resident of the Spasskoye village of Melitopol district of Zaporozhye region Vera Bobkova is crying of the felt shock on Friday, May 7, 2004 in the village Terpenie (12 km from the place of accident). On Thursday, May 6, 2004 the fire happened at the ammunition depot of the South Operative Headquarters near the Phedorovka railway station of Melitopol district of Zaporozhye region. Even the armoured troop-carriers can’t approach the exploded military depots where the shells of the “Uragan” and “Zmerch” class are detonating now. The “dead space” amounts 5 kilometers. 5,725 persons were evacuated, 800 residents were removed from the 4 villages of Mikhaylovskiy district that also layed in the dangerous zone.
