The President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko greets the veterans of УПА with 65th anniversary of the creation of the Ukrainian insurgent army in Kiev on Sunday, October, 14th, 2007 During festivities President handed state rewards. Country's leader also appropriated the rank of Hero of Ukraine (posthumously) commander-in-chief УПА to Roman Shukhevich. A high reward for him was got by his son Yury.
