The Mosque has been building almost 3 years. Specially invited imam Makhmud from Turkey will be conducting service here. Besides services and prayers Moslem ceremonies, study of Koran and claim of values of religion of Islam will be conducted in the mosque. Today about 3 thousand Moslems live in Mariupol. Among them are Turkish, Azerbaijanians, Tatars. Members of Moslem community tell that before services were taking place in the houses of believers or in Donetsk. The honoured guests such as ministers of government and members of parliament of Turkey and Azerbaijan, and also guidance of the Spiritual center of Ukrainian Moslems arrived for the inauguration of mosque.
