Ancient locomotive Kukushka

UNIAN FILE A museum locomotive "Kukushka" ("Cuckoo") is seen at the territory of "ExpoDonbass" exhibition center in Ukraine's eastern town of Donetsk. The locomotive was supposed to be an exhibit at the opening of the State museum of Ukraine's industrial history scheduled for Jan. 29, 2004. The 15-ton locomotive was stolen from the exhibition complex and found by police workers at the metal scrap base in Yasinovataya town on Feb. 25. The real value of "Kukushka" hasn't been estimated yet. Police presumes the locomotive was stolen for metal scrap purpose. Specialists are sure it's possible to restore it. UNIAN photo
