Enver Izmaylov and Lenie Izmaylova

COMM Famous guitar player and compositor Enver Izmaylov, on the right, with his daughter Lenie Izmaylova, performing at the latest concert of the series of “Arena. Wednesday. Jazz” in Kiev, on Wednesday, September 5th 2007. Long time ago, Enver invented his own technique of guitar playing which later was called “tapping”. In this technique sound can be made by two hands at the same time. This way one guitar can sound like the orchestra. In his oeuvre Enver follows the direction which can be described as “imaginary folk” because it mixes folk and modern melodies, music of different nations. Photo UNIAN
