”Business-class” prison cell
A two-person "business-class" prison cell for suspects is seen at a temporary imprisonment ward in Ukraine's eastern town of Dnipropetrovsk on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003. Aug. 18, 2003 a bloc of three increased comfort prison cells was opened in Dnipropetrovsk. A suspect who would like to stay in the cell has to pay 140 Ukrainian hryvnyas a day (around 26 U.S. dollars). Each prison sell includes a toilet, shower (left on photo behind the partition), writing-table, TV, fridge and metal-plastic window with bulletproof glasses.
