One of the first leaders of Ukraine's Narodnyi Rukh party Mykhailo Horyn talks to Atena Pashko, widow of the party founder Vyacheslav Chornovil, during the 8-th World Ukrainian Congress in Kiev on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003. This is the first time in WUC history to hold it in Ukraine - the previous seven congresses were held in United States. More than 200 of 300 delegates represent Eastern diaspora. The main WUC goal is to develop partnership between Ukrainians all over the world. WCU was founded 1967 in New York, U. S. The congress joins over 100 Ukrainian social organizations in 25 countries.
