Pineapple blossoming
Anatoly Paty shows the blooming one-and-a-half-a-year sapling of pineapple, which he had cultivated out of the ordinary fruit, in his Kyiv-based flat (Tuesday, May 11, 1999). The history of Ukrainian gardening counts not more than 5 cases when the pineapple blooms under such extraordinary circumstances. For more than 20 years Paty has been cultivating in his flat and in his country greenhouse more than 1kg-weight lemon hybrid sorts, large-fruited fig, blooming orange and tangerine saplings, etc.
