63-th anniversary of Crimean Tatars deportation

COMM A Crimean Tartar during the mourning rally dedicated to the 63rd anniversary of deportation of Crimean-Tartar people, in Simpheropol (Crimea), on Friday, May 18, 2007. The deportation of Crimean Tartars from Crimea started in 1944. According to different data, from 180 thousand to 190 thousand of people were sent from the territory of peninsula, they were deportee to Central Asia and Siberia.
