Cemetery near Yaniv village

UNIAN FILE Cemetery near Yaniv village left by its habitants after the Chernobyl disaster is seen on this file photo taken some 2km away from the Chernobyl power station (sarcophagus over the 4-th power block is seen on the back) on March 2002. Head of the Russian Minatom corporation Alexander Rumyantsev claimed there's a possibility of sarcophagus destruction over the 4-th power block where the world's biggest nuclear accident happened in 1986. Rumyanetsev said there's a need to build a new sarcophagus worth a few hundred millions dollars. Saturday, April 26, 2003 is to mark the 17-year anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster. Photo by UNIAN
