Meeting of ”Union Chernobyl Ukraine”

A demonstrator comes under U.S. flag as he takes part in an action of protest organized by former workers of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, in downtown Kiev, Ukraine, Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002. Some ten thousand protesters demanded the re-opening of Chernobyl, payment of compensation and increased social protection; also they demanded the G7 member countries fulfill their obligations on compensation of Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
