UNIAN FILE. Sapper of the Ukrainian Military Forces third engineering battalion gets the mine-detector ready for checking the minefield in Southern Lebanon, Monday, Oct. 28, 2002. Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002 is to celebrate Ukraine's engineering troops day. Over 380, 000 mines, shells, grenades and other explosive stuff were found and destroyed by Ukrainian sappers within the 11-year period of Ukraine's independence.
