Oct. 25, 2002 Andriy Shkil accompanied by a group of Ukrainian deputies went to Moscow, where armed Chechen terrorists seized a theater holding hundreds of hostages including Ukrainian citizenry. As Shkil claimed, he would try to persuade the terrorists set the Ukrainian hostages free.
