Transmission of the Bethlehem’s fire

COMM The members of scout organization ”Plast” during the ceremony of passing the Bethlehem peace fire to Kyiv community and ”plast” representatives from central, eastern and southern parts of Ukraine near Vladimir Monument in Kyiv on Sunday, December, 24, 2006. Bethlehem peace fire was passed to Ukrainian scouts on December, 20 by Polish scouts in check-point Rava-Russkaya in Lvov region. The first mention about saint fire dates in 12 century. A crusader brough saint fire of Bethlehem as a gift for his family. The eternal fire of peace burns in Bethlehem in a church which is built in the place of Christ birth.
