Crimean folk referendum through question of entry of Ukraine in NATO

COMM An activist from SDPU (U) takes part in mass meeting against NATO, expressing his solidarity with communists during ”Crimean people’s referendum” on the question of Ukraine entrance into NATO, initiated by Communist Party of Ukraine, in Simferepol on Saturday, December, 16, 2006. Only one question was included into voting paper: ”Do you share political course of the President Viktor Yushchenko as for Ukraine entrance into NATO?”. More than 98% of Crimean citizens who took part in ”People’s referendum” were against Ukraine’s entrance into NATO.
