Murder of manager of «Ozerka» market

COMM Cinema ”Salut” in Dniepropetrovsk on Saturday, December, 16, 2006. That day at midnight on the territory of parking place near the cinema two unknown shot the director of public society ”Central market ”Ozerka” Vladimir Vorobyov. His companion got gunshot wounding of right leg. Vorobyov was a citizen of Russia but lived in Dniepropetrovsk. Police considers business interests to be the main version of murder. October, 30 was an attempt to take the market ”Ozerka” with force. The criminal case was instituted on the fact of armed attack. The court of Dniepropetrovsk approved a sanction to arrest instigators of armed attack of the market. According to statements given by suspects, Russian businessman Maksim Kurochkin and one of market’s ex-directors who also has a Russian passport are involved in latest events over ”Ozerka”. Now market ”Ozerka” belongs to the state. Several times Kurochkin tried to take the market.
