Sergey Stepashin (on the left), temporary acting Prime Minister of RF and Evgeny Primakov (on the right), the former Prime Minister of RF. According to the Decree, signed by Boris Yeltsin, Primakov was retired (Wednesday, May 12, 1999). Sergey Stepashin, the first vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Domestic Affairs was appointed temporary acting Prime Minister.
