Decorator-climber

Decorator-climber rests during the break in work under the TV tower in Lugansk on Friday, Oct 19, 2001. The 9 professional climbers from the brigade “Steeplejack” finish the painting of the 196-meter Lugansk-based TV tower. The tower was not painted for 12 years, though, in accordance with the standards, it should be painted once per 5 years. During the painting steeplejacks use original equipment –- brushes-gauntlets, instead of simple brushes. From the height, where the climbers work, they can see the town of Stakhanov.
