Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasianov, left, and Prime Minister of Ukraine Anatoli Kinakh raise their glasses with champagne after the signing of agreements on Thursday, October 4,, 2001, Kyiv. The package of signed papers included the agreement on providing the natural gas transit through the Ukrainian territory. Kasianov, who arrived in Ukraine with the 2-day working visit, informed that Russia restructured Ukrainian debt for gas for 12 years, in accordance with the rate libor+1% yearly.
