The participants of the Youth Festival
The UNIAN Archive. The participants of the informal Youth Festival amuse near the Crimean Nuclear Power Station (NPS) building, constructed for 90% and abandoned, near v. Shchelkino, cape Kazantip, the Crimea (August 18, 1999). The building of the Crimean NPS, which was planned to be the most high-powered in the former USSR, was interrupted in 1987. Today Shelkino - a village of builders and atomic scienticts - turns into the place for non-formal congresses of people from all over the CIS and Eastern Europe.
