”Following the Two Hares” sculpture

The admirer decorates by flowers the sculpture, representing the personages from the play by M. Staritsky "Following the Two Hares" (August 23, 1999, Kyiv). The sculpture was created by sculptors Vladimir Shyur, Vitaly Sivko, architects Vladimir Skulsky and Ruslan Kucharenko by the initiative and on the money of the Joint-Stock Bank "Etalon". Today the sculpture is ceremonially opened in front of the Andreevska Church. On August 20 the President of Ukraine put up by his decree the Alexander Dovzhenko State Purse to the creators of the "Following the Two Hares" film. Among the recipients are - cameraman-director Vadim Ilienko, actresses Margarita Krynitsina and Natalya Naum. The producer Victor Ivanov and actor Oleg Borisov were posthumously awarded to that prize. Photo by UNIAN
