Sand sculpture

According to the press service of the Kiev City State Administration, some 30 sculptors are expected to take part in the festival, among them professional artists who participated in international sand sculpture festivals and children - students of art institutions. The festival highlights promising developments in various areas of Ukraine's capital. In particular, visitors of the festival will see the sculptures of a mole symbolizing the development of the city subway, soccer shoes showing the football spirit of Kiev ahead of UEFA EURO 2012 and a computer demonstrating the rapid development of information technology in the metropolis.
