Valeriy Ivashchenko

Former Acting Defense Minister Valeriy Ivashchenko during the trial in Pechersk district court in Kiev, on Friday,August 19, 2011. This day Pechersk district court of Kiev refused to grant a petition of Ivashchenko to stay outside the boundaries of the cells for the defendants during court sessions. In decree the court refers to the fact that the current Criminal Procedure Code does not give authority to the court to adjust the terms of delivery and presence of defendants in the courtroom.
