UEFA EURO 2012 tournament director in Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivskiy during a press-conference in Kiev, on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. An extempore tournament befriending with new people took place during “300 days before UEFA EURO 2012” press-conference headed by Markiyan Lubkivskiy. A famous player Sergey Rebrov, designer Viktor Anisimov, the first and only Ukrainian cosmonaut Leonid Kadenyuk became new friends of the tournament. Markiyan Lubkivskiy mentioned that the full list of friends would be made public before September to include 100 people . Among 52 persons listed are Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, Vitaliy Klitschko and Sergey Bubka. A friend of UEFA EURO 2012 is an honorary volunteering mission given to distinguished citizens with prominent achievements to publicize Ukraine during the tournament.
