A priest blesses embroidered rushnyk during all-Ukrainian action "United Ukraine: West And East Together", in Dnepropetrovsk, on Friday, August 12, 2011. Dnepropetrovsk region has joined the all-Ukrainian action "United Ukraine: West And East Together" which took its beginning in Svyatogorsk, Donetsk region, on August 29, 2011. A 2.5 meter rushnyk was sown to the all-Ukrainian rushnyk. This rushnyk has traveled about 22 regions of Ukraine. In each city, it was enriched by a new fragment bearing the coloring and embroidery traditions of the region. Today, it's 60 meters long. Before it arrives in Kiev for the Independence Day festivities on August 24, it will be also presented in Poltava and Sevastopol. Photo by Sergey Isayev / UNIAN
