Aleksandr Prognimak

Leader of "The Greens" party, philanthropist and founder of ancient books fund, Aleksandr Prognimak shows one of the unique books of his library, in Kiev, on Monday, August 1, 2011. On this day, experts from the National Registry of Records of Ukraine visited the library of Prognimak to apply for a record of Ukraine in nomination "The biggest private library". A library of Aleksandr Prognimak has more than 10 thousand volumes. About eight thousand of them are the ancient books.
