Funerals of miners

Relatives part with a miner died in "Sukhodolskaya-Vostochnaya" mine during the funeral, in Severo-Gundarovskiy village (Lugansk region), on Sunday, July 31, 2011. This day in Krasnodon 15 miners were buried who died as a result of explosion in the mine "Sukhodolskaya-Vostochnaya" (Lugansk region). On July 30 two dead miners were buried in Sukhodolsk. In connection with the deaths of miners in the mine "Sukhodolskaya-Vostochnaya" of Lugansk region and the mine of Bazhanov of Donetsk region, President announced Sunday, July 31, a day of mourning in Ukraine. The total number of deaths due to accidents at two mines that have occurred on July 29, is 37 people. In particular, in the mine "Sukhodolskaya-Vostochnaya" 26 miners died, 2 were injured. At the mine of Bazhanov in Makeyevka 11 miners dead and 4 were injured. Rescue works has been finished. Photo by UNIAN
