Ancestors of artist Ilya Repin in the background of the painting "Zaporozhian Cossacks Writing a Letter to the Sultan," written by their ancestor, in the Kharkov Art Museum, in Kharkov, on Thursday, July 14, 2011. Special delegation from France - seventeen adults and children - attended the opening of the 12th International Repin's En Plein Air on artist's homeland - in Chuguyev (Kharkov region). Ilya Repin's ancestors - greatgrandchildren of artist's daughter Tatyana live in France.
