Suppression of the action of silent solidarity
Miitia employees detain the participants of the protest action "revolution in social network" in Minsk (Belorussia), on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. This day in the dozens of towns of Belorussia the action of "silent solidarity” took place. The participants tried to protest without slogans and in a peaceful manner against the government. About 450 people were detained. Most of the detainees - more than 200 people – were in Minsk, the rest - in the regions. In the capital of Belarussia several journalists have been detained.
