Ivan Davidets

The oldest participant of the ethnofestival of mowers, 76-year old Ivan Davidets during the mowers competitions, in Carpathian region, on Tuesday, June 15, 2011. Village of Velyatino marked the day of mowers. Not only Carpathian mowers gathered to show how to hold a scythe, but also officials of different levels. Emergencies Minister of Ukraine Viktor Baloga and his brother, Head of the Carpathian Regional Council Ivan Baloga also attended the event. Contestants competed in speed and quality of mowing.
